bagsta69 Posted May 6, 2022 Share Posted May 6, 2022 Hi all, was wondering if anybody has managed to get nat type one on a PS5. I managed to get it on my PS4 but cannot get it on PS5 at all. I have tried port forwarding, dmz, static IP address. Unplugging the console and the router and rebooting everything all to no avail. I am not having any issues as I have Nat type 2 but it's more a case of if I can get it id like to. Recently upgraded internet connection to fttp. Cheers. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted May 6, 2022 Administrators Share Posted May 6, 2022 NAT Type 1 is reserved for being directly connected to the modem so I'm not sure how you were able to do so before but you won't be able to get it behind a router.
