UK_Wildcats_Fans
My current VPN has adblocking. Due to changes in my VPN, I am exploring options for ad blocking. I only want ad blocking on a few devices and not globally on my network. With Netduma, it seems that I have to enable adblocking for all devices and then disable all other devices. With R2 adblocking enabled, new devices would automatically be enabled as well. I cannot do this because I have new devices constantly added (kids friends) and devices with randomized MACs. Is there a way to enable adblocker for one (or a few) devices without having all new devices using adblocker?
Netduma Liam
Hey @UK_Wildcats_Fans! I'm afraid in it's current state, you would need to pause/disable Adblocker for devices that you don't want it to affect. Is there a reason you'd rather the adblocking was not applied on all devices? If it's a case of it being too strict then you could disable the default Adblock lists and perhaps add one of your own that's not as severe. We could help you get this setup. UK_Wildcats_Fans
I have a large variety of devices (over 100 with work, wife's work, home automation, school, kids devices) on my network with different levels of controls and management. I do not want ad blocker on all devices, nor do I want them on by default.
