AlexType-R
Ok so I had Bell internet with Home Hub 3000 and it was a pain in the ass to set up my XR500 but with the help of you guys I managed to do it. I switched over to Videotron and their router has a bridge mode option in it. So my question is, do I enable bridge mode on their router and then in the settings of my XR500 just choose the option were I don't need to sign in to my provider for internet? I feel like for how complicated it was with Bell that it just seems to easy this way lol. Thanks for the help
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted January 16, 2022 Administrators Share Posted January 16, 2022 So if you don't need a login for the internet then all you really need to do in theory is just connect the XR to the ISP router, put that in bridge mode and you should get internet - you may need to reboot the XR once you've done this
