fabigas
hey netduma Team, i experienced delay in fifa really often and i did some Research. First im connected with lan to ps4, connection benchmark A+, ps4"in dmz. qos enabled and geofilter. i allways connect to the id3 Servers in Rotterdam because ping and game play are the Best for me there. when i Auto ping to the Servers i came accros the tickrates. what is the tickrate of host and Client? and which Rates are send and received? is host allways the Server and Client allways me? i know fifa or ea Server have ONLY 30 tickrates Server. i experienced Bad gameplay when the shown tickrates are much below 30. sometimes 5-7 host and or Client tick rate. shown in the Screenshot below. when tickrates - Client and host - fit with the ping at about 30 the gameplay is as smooth as i can imagine - nearly no delay. so i am intetested in the meaning of the Rates. what is My tick rate and what is the rate of the server or the opponnent? host type in fifa rivals should have been dedicated Servers Not peer. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 25, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 25, 2021 It's showing as a peer as it is misclassified, it's an aesthetic error. Yes the host is the server and the client is you. There is nothing you can do about the rates, that is all determined by the game, looks like you have your settings dialled in so it's not on your end. Happy Holidays! fabigas
Hi Fraser, the description of send and receive sounds wrong way round in the help, is not it? receive rate is the data i send to the server?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 26, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 26, 2021 I'll double check with the team but they seem to be the wrong way around to me
