Rylo
I went into system information because I believe someone was trying to hit me offline, and I saw there was alot of “Failed to send DHCPV6 message to ff02” what does that mean?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 18, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 18, 2021 All that means is your connection doesn't support IPv6 but you have IPv6 enabled so it's not able to send IPv6 packets. If someone was trying to hit you offline you would lose internet instantly
Rylo
So should I enable IPV6 on the R2? I believe the home hub 4000 supports V6 now
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 18, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 18, 2021 No you don't have to, if it supports it then you can but it won't harm you to have it disabled
