Why does the ping only show up when it’s connecting to a peer…servers mostly just show host tick rates?

It should show up on both, are you using the XR300? If so that may be a bug. If not what game/platform are you playing on? Does it happen with all games?

I’m only playing CoD vanguard…and I have xr500, Xbox series X

Has this always been the case or is it a recent development? 

Do this and then see if it works please:

1. Quit the game completely - so go back to console dashboard
2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
3. Resync from the Geo-Filter Map menu
4. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter with the manual option
5. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like
6. Wait 2 minutes
7. Boot up game & look at the ping panel

It’s actually been off and on for a bit….I’ve recently done all those steps as you instructed me to do so (via Twitter) on another issue I was having with servers not showing up in the auto ping lol

Does it appear to be the same servers every time that don't ping or can one server ping then the next time doesn't? It could be some servers are not responding to the ping properly

is there a way to block connection from peers and allow only server, i notice i have a more consistent ping on a server conection, when its a peer mi ping keeps bouncing a lot so i skip and lag

The peers are almost misclassified servers which is just an aesthetic issue and wouldn't impact the game quality so it's likely just a coincidence and you're just getting bad servers. Exclude them from your radius to force other servers that may play better for you. No way to only block peers.
