Rylo
So I’m trying to set up pppoe to give it a go on my R2, I turned off my home hub 4000 wifi, I put in the correct login for my bell id and password, I turned on vlan and put 35 in the line next to it on the R2, but the internet is not working I’m not able to even get on google, any fix? Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 12, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 12, 2021 The Home Hub is still in router mode so you need to put it in modem/bridge/passthrough modes in order for the R2 to get internet using PPPoE. I don’t think you’re able to do that with the home hubs so should I just keep the R2 in the advanced DMZ? Would that still be the same outcome? All devices are on the R2 now
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 12, 2021 Administrators Share Posted December 12, 2021 Ah okay then you can't use PPPoE on the R2, yeah I'd keep it in the DMZ and that would be best really. Yes as you've disabled the WiFi all devices will connect to the R2 and therefore you'll get the most benefit.
