Destiny 2 Geofilter Matchmaking

Were guys ever able to fix Destiny 2's filter issue I read on a netgear forum that there was a cloud fix launched that should make it back to how it used to be for the most part but its still ignoring filter for me did I not get the update?

You should be able to force servers, can you provide a screenshot of what you see on the Geo-Filter when this doesn't happen please?

its sits there saying applying settings for about 5 minutes then shows this

That's fine it will have applied, just refresh the page when it appears

I did that and this is what it shows when i add destiny 2(pc) for xbox

Remove that, go to the Device Manager and change the Xbox to the Xbox device type if it doesn't have that already, then re-add to the Geo-Filter and select the manual option, then you should be able to filter

Okay I did that looks like it's progressing but I'm pretty sure it's still letting ppl in that are outside of the set area.

You can't influence what players connect to you as its now a server based game so you can just force the servers you want to connect to but by getting the closest server you'll have a good connection and an advantage on those further away from the server
