Raikun
Hello folks. So I have this weird issue where the WAN IP within the DumaOS interface is different than the one I get while checking with checkip.dyndns.org . This is preventing me from accessing my resources from outside the local network. Is there a way I could refresh the WAN IP without having to do factory reset? Thanks in advance. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 1, 2021 Administrators Share Posted September 1, 2021 What is the R2 connected to, is it a pure modem or a modem/router? If the latter then it makes sense. The WAN IP will either be the IP the ISP router has given it, in which case it's a local IP or it will be the public IP if you're using a pure modem
Raikun
Connected straight to a pure modem. Funny thing is, WAN IP in Netduma is a Pubic IP, not private, but not the same Public IP I get with Check IP
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 1, 2021 Administrators Share Posted September 1, 2021 Could you provide a screenshot of the difference and omit a small part of each for safety?
