dvdwsn Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 Finally got around to setting up my R2. It's working so far, but the wifi is very slow. Within a few meters of the router, I'm getting 20-30 mbps. Any ideas?
Newfoundland Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 Hi and welcome. After updating if needed it pays to do a nice reset using the rear pinhole method. Set it up and under WiFi turn off mirroring. Name both 2.4 and 5Ghz differently and start with 2.4ghz 20Mhz wide and 5Ghz 80Mhz wide. Then connect to 5Ghz and see if that helps. Remember range has an impact on throughput so as you move away the throughput will lower to the point where you need to connect to 2.4ghz which has a much lower throughput than 5Ghz.
