Warzone and Geo-Filter

Hello guys! I have a problem with my New netgear xr1000. I play on Warzone with ps5. I Tried to set my position in Miami ( NA ) with Geo-Filter but not start Game. I’m from Italy. Anyone can help me to play in NA server from ITALY?

Salve anch'io ho questo problema ho messo la geocalizzazione in Russia con raggio che nn supera il continente ma le partite sono come prima!!! Un'altra poi curiosità se io abbasso il raggio anche a 400 la partita mi viene trovata con gli stessi tempi e nn sembra funzionare perché se fosse in funzione non dovrebbe trovare nessuna partita o a fatica??!!! Mi potete aiutare?

Hello, welcome to the forum the both of you!

Follow these steps to force a game:

1. Quit the game completely
2. Remove device from the Geo-Filter
3. Resync/flush the cloud from the Geo-Filter Map menu
4. Re-add the device to the Geo-Filter
5. Set up the Geo-Filter how you like - you will need to have strict mode on and Ping Assist set to 0
6. Wait 2 minutes
7. Boot up the game

It's important to note that trying to force servers so far away from you may not always work, it can take a long time to get a game and the ping will be higher so it may not be a good experience.

Ho provato tutto come mi hai descritto la partita mi è stata trovata a meno di 1 minuto e il ping era ottimo...credo nn funziona il geo filtro perché se funzionasse correttamente dovrei avere un ping molto più elevato !!

Hai Ping Assist ancora abilitato, devi metterlo a 0

Penso che Russia faccia parte dei server europei…se metti America ti starta le partite ? Ovviamente li non avrai 70ms di latenza

Si ho provato anche Egitto nn cambia nulla sempre solito ping come se il geo filtro non funzionasse

Ho giocato con vpn Egitto di expressvpn la latenza era 70-80ms…per vedere se funziona dovresti allontanarti tipo India o NA se la latenza non sale significa che non va il geo filtro

Hai seguito ogni passaggio con precisione? Se è stato disabilitato, la connessione è già stata stabilita, nel qual caso è necessario attendere i 2 minuti interi affinché le connessioni vengano interrotte

Adesso ho provato ad esagerare per vedere se cambiava nulla...il ping era 74 e molte persone erano italiane dal nome che vedevo quindi nn e possibile che ora se funziona mi trova queste partite....ho tolto la ps,5 dalla lista...la ps5 era spenta...ho messo le impostazioni che hai visto in foto...ho rimesso la ps5 nei dispositivi e ho acceso ...ho avviato una partita...questa e la procedura che ho eseguito

Segui esattamente il processo che ho dettagliato passo dopo passo, anche meglio accedere all'interfaccia su un PC non su un telefono in quanto non è ottimizzato per quello

Ho rifatto tutto ho spento anche il modem e ora funziona ...grazie mille!!! 

Ho provato a cercare partite però in quei paesi ma nn le trovava...credo che più di una certa distanza dal server il gioco non lo permette di trovare partite...grazie mille comunque ho risolto il problema

Quanto hai di latenza se ti localizzi in Russia?

Ho provato a mettere il geo filtro in Russia ma non riesce a  trovare  partite ...credo che se superi i 200 di ping il gioco automaticamente annulla la ricerca...poi dipende secondo me dalla linea che hai se fibra o no!!! Dovrei provare a mettere Est Europa e vedere se trova qualcosa che sia accettabile anche in partita

cod changed their matchmaking back in april and ever since then the geo filter has been chalked. I've came to the conclusion that if you try to force yourself onto any server above 50 ping, it won't let you and/or take 10-20 minutes to find a game. I live in the north east part of the US and the Miami server is around 60-70 ping for me... But it won't even let me force my connection to there. Ever since COD switched their authentication server over to the EU everything went to sh*t. When the authentication server was in the US it would actually log me into the Miami server and would only take about a minute to find a lobby

I don't think that's the case, more likely they're trying to prevent people getting around SBMM using VPNs etc. You can force servers further away but it does take long, the auth server has been in the EU for years

Allora credo abbia ragione il sig. Fraser... Io abito nel nord Italia se cerco una partita nel mio paese cioè nel server europeo tempo 1 Min sono in partita ho provato a mettere Romania che molto vicino all'Italia per trovare 1 partita ci ha messo 15 minuti ...nn so se vale la pena a sto punto

Non ci sono server in Romania - ecco perché ci è voluto molto tempo - usa Ping Heatmap per trovare dove si trovano i server e quindi regola il Geo-Filter di conseguenza

Io ho il neteduma xr300 e il ping headmap non c'è...ho controllato negli aggiornamenti e mi dice che non ce ne sono ! Come faccio ad avere ping headmap?

Ah ecco! Io ho xr1000 non so se c’è qualche limitazione

Ci scusiamo, al momento non è disponibile per quel modello. I server sono in Italia, Spagna, poi Regno Unito, Francia, Germania e zone limitrofe.
