Rosales217 Posted June 20, 2021 Posted June 20, 2021 I recently upgraded to gigabit speed and i was running some speed tests via the connection benchmark and it shows me getting half my speed. I currently don’t have a laptop so i use the speedtest app on my apple tv (since it’s the only thing on lan atm) and that shows me getting over 800 mbps. I read somewhere on one of these topics that the connection benchmark isn’t accurate so should i just ignore the connection benchmark or is there a fix for it?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 20, 2021 Administrators Posted June 20, 2021 We're working on improving the speed reports for Connection Benchmark so you can take that with a pinch of salt at the moment, if the other speedtest says over 800Mbps then that is what you'll be getting. Ping & Ping Under Load on Connection Benchmark can still be used to inform the quality of your connection.
