Jxpans Posted June 19, 2021 Posted June 19, 2021 I recently got the r2, I’ve connected it to my virgin media hub, then connected my console and pc to the netduma. But when I go to the set up wizard it says failed to detect internet connection, my pc doesn’t have a Wi-fi setting, I use Ethernet for it. Can I set it up using Ethernet? I’m not very good at setting stuff like this up so any help is appreciated.

Jxpans Posted June 20, 2021 Author Posted June 20, 2021 Yeah I’ve done that, it’s working now. The geo filter doesn’t seem to work though it keeps putting me in servers outside the geo filter radius

Jxpans Posted June 21, 2021 Author Posted June 21, 2021 How I fixed it. Put the Hub 3 into modem mod Disconnect all ethernet cables from the Hub 3 then power off the Hub 3. Then, set up your own router with the WAN port set to be in DHCP mode. Make sure it’s fully initialized (leave 5 min) and then put in the Cat 5E/6 cable to the Hub 3. Now power up the VM hub and you should get a connection. This order only needs to be done the first time you connect your own router to the VM hub.
