Jxpans Posted June 19, 2021 Share Posted June 19, 2021 I recently got the r2, I’ve connected it to my virgin media hub, then connected my console and pc to the netduma. But when I go to the set up wizard it says failed to detect internet connection, my pc doesn’t have a Wi-fi setting, I use Ethernet for it. Can I set it up using Ethernet? Jxpans Posted June 21, 2021 Author Share Posted June 21, 2021 How I fixed it. Put the Hub 3 into modem mod Disconnect all ethernet cables from the Hub 3 then power off the Hub 3. Then, set up your own router with the WAN port set to be in DHCP mode. Make sure it’s fully initialized (leave 5 min) and then put in the Cat 5E/6 cable to the Hub 3. Now power up the VM hub and you should get a connection. This order only needs to be done the first time you connect your own router to the VM hub.
