Hi, so ive been using my router and its ok.

However, i want to get ride of my BT HUB, is it worth selling my duma router on ebay to get rid of it and buying this instead?

I dont want to have FIBRE > BTHUB > DETDUMA > PS5

i want to achieve: FIBRE > NIGHTHAWK  > PS5

However, this one seems to have the DUMAOS built in?

Will this work to achieve what i want?

Any router, needs to be connected to a modem/router to get internet or from a point in the wall with an ethernet connection so if you get rid of the BT hub you may have to get a modem to replace that so you'd still have two devices there and have paid more than needed

No, the BT HUB is a router, it connects into the white fibre box on the wall which is the modem.

Ive read on the bt forums, lots of people have replaced there BT HUB for a gaming router and enabled the pppoe.

Solved: Re: Using my own router instead of BT Hub for BT F... - BT Community

Im hoping this

https://www.amazon.co.uk/NETGEAR-XR500-Nighthawk-Gaming-Router/dp/B01MY96ENS/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=gaming%2Brouter&qid=1619963759&sr=8-5&th=1

replaces the BTHUB, so i can get rid of the BTHUB and NETDUMA, as the nethawk as the DUMAOS built in
