Deaconbrown Posted April 2, 2021 Posted April 2, 2021 Hi, hope this is the right place to ask questions. I would like to setup port forwarding, but do I need to do it on my main virgin router or on my netduma router? Also what is the benefit of setting my virgin router to modem only mode? Thanks in advance
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 2, 2021 Administrators Posted April 2, 2021 I have Virgin and would recommend you leave it in router mode, then you can put the R2 WAN IP in the DMZ of the V hub to get an open NAT on devices connected to the R2. It will have the basic effect as modem mode. You may not need to do port forwarding if you set it up like this.
