i play scrims in custom games and get around 40 to 30 ping but i get bad bullet reg. its inconsistent, maybe 1/5 maps i get good reg. is there an explanation to this. im the only one using the internet

Are there any devices connected to the upstream modem or do all devices on the network go through the XR?

OK, so presumably everything else is then connected to your modem/router? For the R2s QoS feature to work, you'll need to have everything in the network going through the R2 so it can take control and prioritise game traffic appropriately.
