maazsk97
My pc is connected through LAN cable to the Netduma, however I am noticing packet loss and connection drops only on my Netduma router. When I connect the same LAN cable to my ISP router I get no such issues. I have owned this router since 2015 so the hardware might be possibly failing?! I ran these tests by pinging my ISP router. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 21, 2021 Administrators Share Posted March 21, 2021 What is the IP you're pinging there, your ISP router from the R1?
maazsk97
Yes, that's my ISP router IP.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 21, 2021 Administrators Share Posted March 21, 2021 I've given you access to the R1 beta, can you upgrade to the latest firmware here: https://forum.netduma.com/forum/130-dumaos-30-beta-netduma-r1/ I'd recommend doing a factory reset from the interface once you have, then can you repeat the test and see if you get different results? maazsk97

maazsk97
I think its either my ethernet cable or my ISP router. Before it was only occurring on the R1 but right now I was connected to my ISP router and the same issue occurred. Netduma is fine I guess. Thanks for your help and sorry for the inconvenience. The issue is most likely on my end.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 21, 2021 Administrators Share Posted March 21, 2021 No worries, well done for figuring it out, keep us posted, if it does turn out to be the R1 let us know and we can dive into it further. maazsk97
