zimbabwe Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 I'm unable to get past the DumaOS control panel and connect to the internet. "WAN IP Disconnected" is displayed on the network status. I went through setup wizard, setup the R2 for PPoE and a reset was performed after saving settings. I'm able to connect to the internet when directly connecting to the modem bypassing the R2. I get this in the log file which is maybe the reason? "wlan0: AP-STA-POSSIBLE-PSK-MISMATCH"
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 6, 2021 Administrators Posted March 6, 2021 Thanks for making a new topic. What is your exact physical setup - what is the model of the modem/router the R2 is connected to? Is it a pure modem (no wifi) or a modem/router (wifi)?
zimbabwe Posted March 6, 2021 Author Posted March 6, 2021 The R2 is connected to an ONT box which I believe is a pure modem. And my pc is connected to the R2 via ethernet.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 6, 2021 Administrators Posted March 6, 2021 Do you have another router/modem you were using prior that you can use to handle PPPoE, then connect the R2 to that and remove those details from the R2, reboot and see if it gets a connection?
zimbabwe Posted March 6, 2021 Author Posted March 6, 2021 Ok I connected R2 to previous Router/modem, then connected PC to R2, rebooted, and I'm getting the same issue - able to access Duma OS but not the internet.

After connecting the R2 did you do a fresh setup ie reset R2.

zimbabwe Posted March 7, 2021 Author Posted March 7, 2021 I installed the firmware to .179 and after the reboot a box appeared saying "Missing JSON response." There is still no connection
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 7, 2021 Administrators Posted March 7, 2021 Make sure you do a factory reset as that will remove any remnants from .205, will also force you through the setup wizard for it to look for the connection.
