donsknr Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 I just received my NetDuma R2 and was going through the setup wizard. I got to the part of the setup where it was changing the wifi SSID and password. It sat spinning for a long time (10 mins or more) not doing anything so I restarted the router. Then I reset the router and I can't connect to it now. It shows up as an available wifi connection, but when I select NetDumaR2 it asks for the security key, I input the default security key, it says "The network security key isn't correct. Please try again." This has all been over wifi. Any suggestions? Thanks
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 4, 2021 Administrators Posted March 4, 2021 Hey, welcome to the forum! By doing it over the WiFi when you change the WiFi details you will need to reconnect to the WiFi according to the new details and then continue with the wizard. Try with the details you set it to and it should work.
donsknr Posted March 4, 2021 Author Posted March 4, 2021 I also had already tried the new password I gave it. That didn't work either. But also, I didn't figure it would be using the new password because it didn't keep the new SSID. Also, in the instructions it says that when you reset the router it will need to use the original login credentials.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted March 5, 2021 Administrators Posted March 5, 2021 Ah by reset you meant factory reset. Are you able to connect using ethernet?
