pdpawlak
Randomly got this error when accessing Duma on my laptop last night. It would still work from the nighthawk app, so i did a reboot from there. The reboot seemed to have factory reset my router... This morning i went through and reconfigured everything and the error popped up again. I am on the latest firmware on the XR1000. It appears the workaround is to factory reset, but that appears to be temporary. Is this a known issue?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 4, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 4, 2021 Hey, welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you're having this issue. I would not reboot from the app if it factory reset, it likely did not do a proper reset either so I'd suggest doing a factory reset from the actual interface instead. Do you usually reset from the app?
pdpawlak
I cant get into the interface due to the error in my OP. Yes, to perform reboots, i usually use this button in the app:
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 4, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 4, 2021 Ah yes sorry, hold the reset button in the back of the router for 30 seconds, then release, wait 2 minutes then attempt to access please.

Will do. Is a full factory reset the resolution for this error? Any idea why the error showed up all of a sudden or if it will reappear?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted February 4, 2021 Administrators Share Posted February 4, 2021 Yes it should be the resolution. I haven't been able to piece together a pattern for why or when it occurs so far. Probably a weird reboot or reset causing it.
