That's perfect, thank you!

So the software is the exact same for all of those and they all have geo-filtering including the older/cheaper ones?

The software isn't the exact same on all of them, some of them do differ by features - for example the XR500 has Hybrid VPN and the XR300 doesn't. Yes they all have the Geo-Filter regardless of their software version. Some have newer versions of the Geo-Filter as standard (R2 & XR1000) while others you can upgrade to beta firmware to get it.

I'm in Italy so the Netduma R2 is not an option unfortunately; I currently have ADSL internet due to house location, 20Mbps download and 2Mbps upload. Do you think an XR300 is enough or should I consider the XR500, etc.? Does my internet speed matter at all when deciding which one to get?

Thanks for being so helpful

We do ship to Italy but we're currently waiting on stock to arrive in early February. With those speeds you don't necessarily need the most powerful hardware. XR300 would be enough for you but I'd suggest the XR500 if you don't want to wait for the R2.

Good to know the R2 is an option! I will do some more research then decide which one to get, thanks for your amazing support.

Sorry to bother you again Fraser, one last question, I just read those routers use IPv6; I think I still have IPv4 with my ADSL plan and I'm not sure if IPv6 is possible to get yet.
Is IPv4 still supported by the router? What tangible differences are there between the two in my case and while gaming?
Thanks!

IPv6 is actually disabled by default so you're absolutely fine to use IPv4 - I use IPv4 as well as my ISP doesn't support IPv6 and I don't have any issues. There won't be much real difference, supposedly if you have an Xbox then you have improved network performance using IPv6.
