Are you using the WiFi to connect to it? If so and your MacBook has an Ethernet port please wire up to the R2 and then try to access the router. Use 192.168.77.1 in the browser to connect.

Hey, welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear you're having this issue. Are you able to connect a PC via ethernet to the router and then setup that way? When you've completed the setup wizard you can then connect your devices via wifi with the details you've set.

my MacBook Pro doesn't have an ethernet connection when I go the router it was working fine and then I had to move and when I tried to connect to it it wouldn't work anymore so at this time when I look for the name on the wifi list it won't show up the First two lights on the router are on but not the 2.4 light is not on

Could you try this please:

  1. Connect the R2 LAN port to your ISP router WAN/internet port (you won't have internet while you do this)
  2. Connect via WiFi to the ISP router
  3. Access the R2 interface via 192.168.77.1 in your web browser
  4. Go through the setup wizard, set up the WiFi details. When you get to the internet part click the option for you to set it up manually, then skip it on the next page and you can complete it.
  5. When that is all done, reboot the R2 from the interface
  6. After 2 minutes switch everything back the way it is supposed to be
  7. Connect the devices via WiFi to the R2 with the details you applied in the Setup wizard
