Dustin
Hello all, im very curious with normal browsing will the R2 prevent malicious advertising redirecting traffic outside the geographic boundary set in the R2? For example, I’ll set this up to be the continental United States. At work we often see malvertising redirect enterprise network traffic to the Seychelles as an example. Geographic filtering is a feature of enterprise network equipment that we suggest client leverage against this activity. I’m curious if the R2 will provide the security enhancement to the home network. Thanks.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted December 5, 2020 Administrators Share Posted December 5, 2020 Hey, welcome to the forum! Our Adblocker does block malware by default but in terms of preventing traffic being redirected outside a specific boundary we don't have that option. I can certainly request that from the team though but as its quite niche for the home market it may take awhile before we implement anything like that.
