Roses
Hi, I was wondering if there are any settings that I can change to become a better custom lobby host. When I host its ok for 1v1 or 2v2 but anytime I get more than 4 players in my lobby it just lags like crazy for the other people. My internet is 130/12 fiber from Virginmobile which uses Bell. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 26, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 26, 2020 You will definitely want the Geo-Filter disabled if you're inviting pre-determined players to the game. So really all you can do to improve the connect is QoS. What router are you using?
Roses
I have it on spectating mode because before it kicked them. I have the QOS set to 80% on both because that gives the lowest jitter with the best speeds. I use the xr300 with the homehub 3000 (also known as Valerie for virginmobile). I have fiber and play on PC.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 26, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 26, 2020 Okay really then sounds like you've optimized it, are you using Traffic Prioritization also?
Roses
I have it set to auto detect.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted November 26, 2020 Administrators Share Posted November 26, 2020 You could experiment with manually adding ports, some people experiment with those and find it helps more.
Roses
I'll test this out
