I think Fraser is asking about your setup, isp, how it’s connected up and so on. The more information the better the chances that the issue can be found.
it could be you have it setup incorrectly or the router settings are incorrect.
Im wondering as you mentioned ping if you thought the base ping would be lower than your isp, this can’t be changed no matter what router you use as it’s down to your line quality.

I can’t find any other posts from you apart from asking for the latest updates. Post away and let us know your physical setup and feel free to post any screen shots of Duma setting that you are not sure on, Romberg not to post any pics of confidential info.

Depending on how long you have had the device and the return laws in your country you may or may not be able to return it. In the Uk you can return any device within a specified period of time, you reject the contact between you and the supplier, the goods are not up to standard for your needs, and the supplier has to give a refund, it can be as simple as you don't like the colour compared with the photo. Here in the UK its all under the sales of goods act 1979 amended and you are entitled to a full refund up to 6 years later of you can prove the unit was in a faulty state not fit for its purpose from the outset, and with many forums these days showing issues on devices from the get go that's quite easy and with manufacturer's not covering themselves and admitting to issues too that's hardly an issue.

Saying your ping is higher and speeds are lower is too vague. I need more information such as:

  • What was your ping previously?
  • What is it now?
  • Where are you checking this ping? - In game? Speedtest.net?
  • What speeds did you get previously?
  • What speeds do you get now?
  • Where are you testing the speeds?
  • How are you testing - ethernet or WiFi?
  • What is your exact physical setup?
  • What firmware version are you on?

You haven't engaged with support so far so if you do that I'm sure we can get your issues sorted. Please see the link to see whether you're able to receive a refund and how to go about claiming it.
