Need Help on Setting up Bridge Mode With Modem + R2

Hey, I'm from Israel and I own an R2 Netduma, I wanna set my modem to act as a pure modem with bridge mode, my modem's name is HOTBOX, it apparently has a Bridge Mode feature but whenever I enable that my internet stops working and last time I tried enabling it, my internet didn't work for an hour after trying to reset my modem settings etc.

I've tried to call my ISP but they're clueless as to what I'm talking about and they just forward me to a waiting line and no one ever picks up

What I want is to set up a Bridge mode with my Netduma router and HOTBOX modem, I'm not knowledgeable at all in all of this internet stuff, I've tried looking up ways to get bridge mode to work for me but nothing just works.

The bridge mode I want ideally is when I ipv4 trace route for example www.google.com in Command prompt I want it to not time out like it does right now.

Hey, welcome to the forum!

If the bridge mode isn't working properly then probably best to use the DMZ instead. Take the WAN IP from the R2 System Information page and put that into the DMZ on the hotbox. Disable UPnP on the hotbox as well as WiFi. This will essentially provide a sort of modem mode and should give you the outcome you want.

Thank you very much sir I will do that, i wanna mention that my modem is DHCP I don’t if that’s any use to you but I thought you should know, I have a few questions, should I uncheck any of these boxes along side the UPNP?

Also should I disable SSID Broadcasting along with wifi?

your new dumaos update is super nice thank you very much👍
