Tmtmulisha
So i was getting a moderate nat type, my isp has a gateway 3 in 1 tivo phone and internet we disbaled the wifi in the modem so everything would funnel through the duma, i dmz the router inside the modem. Does the duma have a firewall that would protect my devices even tho the router is dmz inside the modem?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 28, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 28, 2020 Yes it does have a built in firewall so you are protected, no need to worry!

Tmtmulisha
ok so im on hold with my isp when i dmz the router it still gives me a moderate nat type they upgraded there modems (was forced to get one) my old worked fine with dmz. But now with this new it wont work. i had to dmz the console in the duma as well. but doesnt that leave the playstation open to attacks? and is demonware port mapping a normal thing never seen that before. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 28, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 28, 2020 Demonware is a server used for CoD so that's normal. In theory it leaves it open for an attack but in reality this is highly unlikely to happen. I actually have mine in the DMZ. Where are you reading the NAT status, on the console network settings or the game?
