Ping assist vs geofilter radius

which will get me better results?

Marking location in the ocean and setting ping assist to my desired limit 

Or

Ping assist 0, and marking  radius around me for server acceptance?

 

I've been using ping assist only is assumption that that would be better.

There is no one size fits all setting, we've made both options available so that people can experiment and find what works best for them. People swear by both so it will just be their opinions based on their own setup.

I have tried both, I seem to have better experience with using 1000k radius  set ping to 0
