byben156
Hello everyone, I have an XR500 and when I want to access the geo-filter, QoS, Device Manager, Network Monitor, and Hybrid VPN, it would try to load but give me a message saying "This R-App is not loaded yet, please try again in a minute." I tried to access the dashboard through Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. I did reboots, factory resets, downgraded from V2.3.2.56 to V2.3.2.32 with factory reset, and upgraded to dumaOS 3.0 beta and the R-apps will not load. Does anyone know how I can fix this issue? RichardRO
I have the same issue with XR1000 randomly, this is the DUMAOS acting up and not being tested properly :((
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 20, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 20, 2020 Hey, welcome to the forum! What device did you try to access it on? In System Information in the Rapp panel, click the 3 line icon and change the number of retries to 5 and then reboot the router from the interface, can you access it after that? 10 hours ago, RichardRO said: I have the same issue with XR1000 randomly, this is the DUMAOS acting up and not being tested properly :(( I've responded to your topic. byben156
I changed the retries to 5 and rebooted and I got the same result. I decided to try and take everything off the network and see if it would load and it did. I started adding devices 1 by 1 and so far no issues. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 20, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 20, 2020 That's very odd, not sure what would cause that. What devices do you have in your home? Let us know if it happens again + the device that seems to cause it.
byben156
I found out the culprit was an IR control device called BroadLink RM Mini 3, I use it for controlling my TV, sound bar and fan. I forgot to connect that device when I was adding my devices again. So when I added the RM Mini 3 and rebooted the router the R-apps would not load, when I took the RM Mini 3 off and rebooted the router the R-apps did load. To make sure that was the device causing the issue, I took everything back off the network and added only my phone and the RM Mini 3 and the R-apps did not load, I took off the RM mini 3 and the R-apps did load. Now I can't figure out how to have this device on the network and access the r-apps at the same time.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 26, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 26, 2020 Good job on finding the device it caused it, why it is causing it I have no idea. How is it connected to the router via WiFi? If so are you using Smart Connect for WiFi?
byben156
Yes its connected by wifi on 2.4ghz. I have Smart Connect turned off.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 26, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 26, 2020 Disable MU-MIMO in Advanced WiFi Settings, it may not like that.
byben156
I disabled MU-MIMO and it still won't load the r-apps.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 27, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 27, 2020 Make a guest WiFi network for 2.4GHz and just connect that device to it, that is all, does everything work properly then?

Did that occur after an update? If so you will need to rename the devices that were added back to the original name or reconnect them if they were disconnected, otherwise do a factory reset. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 28, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 28, 2020 Have you allowed it to have access to the local network? Can you connect any device to the guest network?
byben156
I didn't allow the guest network to access the local network at first, but now I allowed it and the device connected, but the R-apps will not load.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 28, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 28, 2020 What does the broadlink actually connect to is it just the router or do other devices connect to it specifically?
byben156
It just connects to the router.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 28, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 28, 2020 Use a WiFi analyzer, are you on a heavily congested channel for 2.4/5GHz?
byben156
I changed my wifi password so that only the broadlink and my phone would be the only 2 devices that can connect to my wifi. Could that still be an issue?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 28, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 28, 2020 A congested channel would be caused by lots of WiFi networks in your area all broadcasting on the same channel.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 29, 2020 Administrators Share Posted September 29, 2020 Change 2.4GHz to channel 14 and change 5GHz to channel 64 and see if it works better then.
