SendNukes Posted September 18, 2020 Posted September 18, 2020 I understand that setting mtu at max without fragmentation is the optimal setting... But could a lower MTU help with ping spikes and packet loss?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted September 18, 2020 Administrators Posted September 18, 2020 MTU is one of those placebo type recommendations on every YouTube video about improving connection. If there were any improvements it would be marginal so would recommend just leaving it as is.
