$ is not defined error

Good evening, 

I am trying to access the dumaOS to make some changes on the router but I am getting the error "$ is not defined" when trying to login...?

 

Anyone have the same issues in the past with this?

Could you provide a full page screenshot of this when you see it happen please? What device/web browser are you using to access and what DumaOS version are you on?

Using google chrome and not sure what version I’m on currently.

I also have no internet connection when using the R1...just using my isp hub I can access the Internet.

Clear your browser cache/cookies or use an incognito window, can you get to the interface then?

What is an incognito window? 

Could this be due to me putting in an incorrect password to get in the UI? 

Tried both incognito window and cleared cache and cookies...still nothing

Possibly but it should work if it asked you to login again when using the incognito window. Was there any settings changes or anything prior to the error appearing? I think you'll need to do a reset by holding the button in the back of the router for 25 seconds.

Tried resetting, still nothing. No changes to anything as that’s what I was trying to login to do was check over things and make some changes.

What web browser/device are you trying to access from? If you use a few different browsers on a PC can you access it? Google Chrome should work.

I’m trying to access from my PC using google chrome. Every time I reset it it will have Internet for about 2-3mins then it goes out.

Just to clarify, once you reset it, do you have access to the interface for 2-3 minutes?

No but I do have access to the internet for 2-3 mins. That error shows up after entering login information for the UI regardless. When I run network diagnostics on windows it says DNS error.

Okay interesting, do you know when this started happening? Was it as soon as you upgraded to DumaOS or after a setting change? Do you know which version you're on?

Im pretty sure I’m on the latest version but this just started happening out of nowhere. Like I said before I haven’t made changes in a while so I figured I would login to the UI and check it out and make some changes but it will not let me in for whatever reason. Any way the router could have bricked? I’ve had this one for about 7 years now.

I’ve logged in to the UI a few times since upgrading to dumaOS but I haven’t changed anything that I know of other than device prioritizing and such.

I don't think it's bricked but I'm not sure what we can do, are you on 3.0 or the one prior to this? I may need to pass this onto the devs. On the interface right click the page and go to inspect element. Go to the console tab and take a screenshot please.

No I do not have the 3.0 just the original dumaOS.

Not yet, I'm not sure when they'll be able to take a look - it was a national holiday yesterday so was first day back in office today since I let them know.
