Gwarh Posted June 4, 2020 Share Posted June 4, 2020 It's a minor thing but I'd like to change the displayed name for the LAN connection from 'NETGEAR41' to the name I gave the XR500 'MECHAGODZILLA!. I've tried changing the name in the NetDumaOS to what I want in a few places but it isn't updating, even after restarting the XR500 and my Win 10 PC. Would someone be able to point me to the menu--->submenu---> setting in the OS where I can change that name. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 4, 2020 Administrators Share Posted June 4, 2020 Go to Settings > Setup > Device Name and change it there, that should do it. You may need to reboot the PC/flush the DNS cache on the PC for it to then show up correctly. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
