Santamaria789
I bought a XR500 a little over a week ago and just started experiencing the internet dropping. If I hook up directly to my modem I can still reach the web so it’s definitely the router. I couldn’t even reach the router by typing in its IP address. Sometimes turning it off and unplugging for a minute fixes it, other times I have to factory reset. I know there was a problem in previous firmware’s, is it still an issue? Is another firmware coming to fix? Or do I need to tinker with settings? Never really had a router that wasn’t plug n play. Any help is appreciated, just would like to know if it’s worth the hassle to try to get working or if I should just return.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 23, 2020 Administrators Share Posted April 23, 2020 Hey, welcome to forum! Does this occur on all devices both wired and WiFi? How are you trying to connect to the interface when it occurs and what happens when it doesn't work?
Santamaria789
All devices on WiFi and Ethernet. I try to connect to the interface via Ethernet, says address unavailable. After cycling power I am able to connect and says not connected to internet, has no DNS. Even after inputting DNS, does not work. I have to factory reset to get it to work.
