Breebz
I had this same issue when I changed from my Netgear X4s router to the XR500. I had to call my ISP for them to clear the ip addresses. When I connected the XR500 my internet was looking for the ip address of my old router. Once the ISP cleared the ip address the XR500 was able to connect to internet and was able to setup everything up

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 22, 2020 Administrators Share Posted April 22, 2020 You should be able to do the above if you can connect to your ISP hub and then release any LAN IPs it's holding on to.

Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 22, 2020 Administrators Share Posted April 22, 2020 Yes but there shouldn't be an issue getting it back, should accept new connections normally.
