Static/dynamic ip address vs ping

Short answer: No.

In terms of LAN - A static IP is you just telling the router give this device this specific IP. Dynamic is the router just assigning a free IP that it has in its pool of IP addresses. Usually once you've got an IP in this way it doesn't change too often. Same applies to static/dynamic public IP from the ISP though the dynamic IP in this case may change more often.

i mean by to get from my ISP static ip  ( cost money

= pay them to get static ip ) .. or to get from my ISP free dynamic ip @Netduma Fraser

Understood, it won't affect your ping - it's just the way you get an IP address.

No benefit in that aspect no so would suggest leaving it as it is.
