I always assumed I had to update the cloud to get the changes you guys out through Every so often the router queries our cloud server to see if there is a new version - if there isn't nothing happens. If there is then it will download this and apply automatically. The download is so small you wouldn't notice an impact on the network. The flush cloud button essentially does this whole process except you've manually queried the server rather than the router doing it automatically.
