slickrick6922 Posted November 30, 2019 Share Posted November 30, 2019 my game [cod] just started playing like $h1% , I checked to see what port was open on my xbox and the ip number starts with 169 . my router ip numbers start at 192. I've got the xbox hard wired. if I run the xbox in wireless mode it kicks to the 192 numbers. if I change the ip address on the xbox the router just changes it back? I'm surprised it actually let you play if that was the case. Did it start before you were playing or as you were playing? If you switch back to ethernet does it show the correct IP?
