ByMgRs Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 I havent dropped my phone but the lense is cracked and I am not 100% sure how to replace it, is it adhesive or do I have to take apart the phone? I found replacement parts on ebay but one "kit" comes with a torx screwdriver which is for opening the phone? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Original-Black-Camera-Lens-Cover-w-Holder-Tool-for-HTC-One-M9-2015-5-0-ZVMA659-/400935898863?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item5d59a44eef http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.H0.Xhtc+one+m9+lens.TRS0&_nkw=htc+one+m9+lens&_sacat=0 It sucks as I literally just had the power button replaced
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 13, 2015 Administrators Posted July 13, 2015 My friend replaced his screen on his android and I believe he had to take it apart, theres probably some youtube videos out there that will take you through step by step but any warranty you have will be void after doing so.
ByMgRs Posted July 13, 2015 Author Posted July 13, 2015 this isnt the screen just the camera glass piece covering it. no worries thanks fraser
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted July 13, 2015 Administrators Posted July 13, 2015 Woops sorry haha! Well if its anything like mine, if you can take the back off then there should be a couple of screws holding down the camera casing so could be an easyish fix
