Geofilter? Is this correct?

I have my home set in Virginia. I have the geofilter set for less than 1000km. Ping assist set to about 30ms. I keep getting dedi's on the west coast it seems. Take a look at the pics. What's going on?

Are you having strict mode on?

Are you using bleeding ege cloud settings?

What version of firmware you are useing?

Remeber also that ping assist its to look for connections that falls under what you havebset you ping assist value.

 

Its seems like this is happening. If thats the case you should have the host circle doted while game is playing.

 

If you dont want to use ping assist just set it to 0

I appreciate the feedback. I understand that but 30ms (ping assist value) for that long of a distance doesn't seem right. From Virginia to the far West Coast is going to be greater than 30ms. Would you agree? I pull games that are 478km with the same ping so something seems off.

Sure its sound like it could be a mislocated server witch happens.

 

Please next time you are put on it take its id and post it in incorect location thread so it can be moved to wright location

Cool! Thanks! Just seemed odd to me. I'll add those two servers and have them check it out. I'll have to find out where that is but I will post those two and any others I find.
