If XR an option that may help you is keeping 'Respond to internet ping' disabled in WAN Settings. Also if you can work out where this person is getting your IP it might be worth seeing if your ISP can change it (if on static) or leaving your modem off for 5 minutes if its dynamic and potentially using a VPN for that service e.g. Skype so they don't get your new IP.
