YOBIGDUSOFLY
After several attempts last night I was unable to get my console to show up in the GeoFilter. You can see it on the network map, but I was never able to get it to show up. I'm running tandem routers. My Nighthawk with NetGear OS is the primary with my original NetDuma R1 being downstream. My Nighthawk does recognize the Duma as an attached device. I've been out of the loop for a while, so I'm trying to remember some of the things I've tried in the past to fix this so I'm reaching out, thanks. Administrators Netduma Admin Posted January 2, 2019 Administrators Share Posted January 2, 2019 Hi there - so the PS4 is connected to the R1 or the Nighthawk? It will need to be connected directly to the R1 for it to appear on the Network Map. You want to setup your network like this if possible: Modem - > R1 -> Nighthawk With all gaming devices connected directly to the R1 and all other devices connected to the Nighthawk to use ts superior WiFi Then in the R1 you can Geo-Filter your gaming devices and use QoS to ensure no congestion occurs to cause lag.
