Ive been looking online will putting the xr500 in a dmz on the virgin hub have any benefit at all. Just another option.

also I got virgin media coming out as I had some one check and I have Low level FECS I don’t even know what that means lol.

had  them come out last time and engineer didn’t have a clue what to do.

Modem mode is optimum, if thats not working out then yes put the XR500 in the hubs DMZ instead and disable the hubs WiFi. Hopefully this time the engineer will know what they're doing!
