Kahari
Hey I’ve noticed another PlayStation they isn’t mine under my device mamager. When I try to block it, it doesn’t do anything. When I try to delete it, it says device is currently online and can’t be deleted. What should I do?
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 2, 2018 Administrators Share Posted April 2, 2018 it could be the same PS4 if its been used on wireless/wired They'd appear as separate devices. Do you have any devices using a Playstation app? Could be its classing that as a PS4. Check the MAC/IPs on the device manager with your devices and you can match them up then rename. Kahari
My PS4 is always wired, and the Mac addresses and IP addresses are completely different. This is the first time I’ve ever seen another Playstation on my device list. Also I’ve matched up all of my devices and labeled them correctly so I’m pretty sure it’s another PlayStation that isn’t mine.
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted April 2, 2018 Administrators Share Posted April 2, 2018 Those details would be different if it switched to wireless anyway. It's highly unlikely a different PS4 has connected to your network, block it and see if anything on your network loses internet.
