Follow this :

To set up a default DMZ server:

1. Launch an Internet browser from a computer or wireless device that is connected to the network.

2. Type http://www.routerlogin.net or http://www.routerlogin.com.

A login screen displays.

3. Enter the router user name and password.

The user name is admin. The default password is password. The user name and password are case-sensitive.

The BASIC Home screen displays.

4. Select ADVANCED > Setup > WAN Setup.

5. Select the Default DMZ Server check box.

6. Type the IP address. This is the IP shown on Device Manager section of your Duma.

7. Click the Apply button.

Your change takes effect.

But can hackers attack me if i do that?

It just opens all ports to the device you have given the ip to, your main router will still have a firewall and your PC's and so on.

WARNING: DMZ servers pose a security risk. A computer designated as the default DMZ server loses much of the protection of the firewall and is exposed to exploits from the Internet. If compromised, the DMZ server computer can be used to attack other computers on your network.

It's fine. The Netduma has a standard Linux firewall so there shouldn't be any security issues :)

Its up to you but im sure it will open your Nat Type and also once you have set up the DMZ reserve the ip for the Duma. Follow instructions below.

To reserve an IP address:

  4. Select ADVANCED > Setup > LAN Setup.
  5. In the Address Reservation section of the screen, click the Add button.
  6. In the IP Address field, type the IP address to assign to the computer or server.

Choose an IP address from the router's LAN subnet, such as 192.168.1.x.

  7. Type the MAC address of the computer or server.

Tip: If the computer is already on your network, you can copy its MAC address from the Attached Devices screen and paste it here.

  8. Click the Apply button.

The reserved address is entered into the table.

Moderate

So you placed the Netduma's IP address into the DMZ of your Netgear ? Also you will need to reboot both Routers and XB1.

Still moderate and my internet lost connection when i did the DMZ

That shouldn't have done anything to your internet connection. Did you fully lose internet connection or was it only through the Netduma?

Did you try restarting both the routers as Raddy suggested?

Ok i want to ask you i just got a new modem from comcast so i don't have to pay the rental fees, but on speedtest ip change

On netduma im using both pc/console but show different ip for the end pc 131 and console 198

Yep, thats normal. Those are internal IP Addresses. The reason your external IP changed on speed test changed is because your New Modem will have had a different MAC Address.

Would you be able to connect the Netduma directly to the modem without the Netduma? If you wanted to use the Wifi on the Netduma you could connect the Nighthawk to the Netduma. Or are you using the Nighthawk as the modem? :)

Go to the first screen shot and follow the directions. Then click and open the netgear and enter the address shown on your duma (make sure you're wifi connected to the duma) and see if that works. Don't reboot the netgear or the mac address will change.
