VIPER51
In my Arris there's a NAT MODE setting. 3 options, Routed with NAT, bridged, and routed without NAT. Which one should be used for a unrestricted connection? Thanks for the help.
vip3rr
On your arris modem, you will want to put that in "bridged" mode. this will allow the Public IP address to be passed to the netduma directly

VIPER51
Ok I got the system in the open mode. Prefect! Now my mistake is I can't get back into the Arris to shut down the Arris wifi. it's still on and is interfering with the connection. Do i have to start from scratch? One modem at a time and get to the Arris and shutdown the wifi and then redo Netduma and bridge again. If i do no problem, or what else can I do? Should i factory reset both units so there stock before I bridge again? Any changes to anything before I bridge? And again any help is greatly appreciated. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted October 21, 2017 Administrators Share Posted October 21, 2017 The IP to access the interface has likely changed, search your model and bridge mode IP and then you should be able to access and disable the WiFi
