regulator95
Please ignore my other post in general forums. Ian, Crossy or someone else can delete. To make a long story short when connected to WIFI on the netduma router, I get inconsistent speeds. I am typically getting half of my rated speeds (25mbps). I have an Asus AC router that even on 2.4 ghz gets me 29mbps. I have both routers set to the same channel. Only one router is actually powered on at a time, so no collisions. I just ran a speedtest on the netduma and got 4.55 mbps. This has only started to happen in the past several weeks. My sonos audio components recently also started to just randomly drop/disappear from the network. I have changed the channel to just about all 11 wireless channels, however on the same exact channel as my ASUS the netduma router is horribly laggy and has awful speed. Zennon
Wifi can get congested if you neighbour uses the same channel here is a list of wifi analysers HereAlso you could turn off the wifi work around in misc settings of the duma. Do not have wifi enabled on your ASUS that will cause trouble only have the Netduma wifi enabled.

Buds
Sorry Regulator, seen your first thread before this one. Good to see you may have narrowed it down to the OS

Administrators Netduma Iain Posted June 1, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 1, 2015 Nice one regulator, can you let us know what the fix is so we can put it on the wiki for future people please.
regulator95
It is just that OS X switched to a new networking service, discoveryd, in their latest OS. They were using open source mdnsresponder in previous versions. I guess discoveryd, wasn't ready for primetime and creates TONS of networking issues, including dropped connections, speed problems, etc. When they release 10.10.4 they are switching back to mdnsresponder that will hopefully fix all the issues.
