Homertherat
The wifi on my Netduma cuts out constantly. I've gone through the troubleshooting and nothing has helped. I think the wifi module is failing. How do I get a replacement?

We've gone through all the FAQ's and knowledge base things we could find. I've had it since last November, and up until about a month or two ago, it was working great. Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted August 29, 2017 Administrators Share Posted August 29, 2017 Does it happen with all wireless devices? Is it just wireless or wired connections as well? Does it happen at a particular time or when there is heavy downloading? etc
talbyfish
I have had exact same problem for months. Got me duma on day one. Wired xbox stays connected but all wi fi devices lose connection then reconnect but with no internet access. My son plays xbox via Wi-Fi in his room, I can tell soon as it loses connection. DAAAAAAAAD he shouts ha ha. He goes nuts. Av tried all the fixes bit it don't work. Sometimes it's ok for days then it could go off 4 times in one day. It even goes off at night when nobody is using it. Help me too please.

Does it happen at a particular time or when there is heavy downloading? etc It happens with all devices, light or heavy traffic, at pretty consistent intervals throughout the day. It doesn't matter how many devices are connected or what those devices are downloading. Wired is not affected.

Also double check what I say below and see if that helps. It happens with all devices, light or heavy traffic, at pretty consistent intervals throughout the day. It doesn't matter how many devices are connected or what those devices are downloading. Wired is not affected. Okay in that guide is all known fixes so I'll try to suggest some experimental ideas that could possibly help. Disable stealth mode Disable turbo mode Use preemptive algorithm Use WiFi channel 6 or 11 as opposed to the least congested one
talbyfish
I think as it switching to preemtive has sorted it for me.
