Wayland
I brought the Netduma because Destiny had the worst lag during the The Taken King. I know you should keep your geo-filter small, but living in Hawaii it's a struggle because we're so far away from the America. My main concern is reducing my ping. How should I set up my router? II Z IE IR O II
I brought the Netduma because Destiny had the worst lag during the The Taken King. I know you should keep your geo-filter small, but living in Hawaii it's a struggle because we're so far away from the America. My main concern is reducing my ping. How should I set up my router? If possible, have the geo filter around California if Destiny is on dedicated servers. I don't play Destiny but I am from Hawaii. I mostly play COD on PS4 and Gears of War 4 on Xbox One. Netduma Staff Netduma Jack Posted July 13, 2017 Netduma Staff Share Posted July 13, 2017 Thanks does that help with your ping? Hey Wayland, welcome to the forum! I reckon the advice above would help with your ping - there are servers in California which will likely be the closest ones to you. Make sure you keep strict mode off - you could also try setting ping assist to 60ms to help out with distant servers. If you literally get no connections in Hawaii, I would set the Geo-filter home directly on California and keep it on that west coast. Let us know if that helps hopefully II Z IE IR O II will be able to give you some more advice.
