Today the Charter spectrum updated internet services. I just got the update an hour ago and I noticed they also added 3 more channels to Upstream Bonded Channels. I have the TP-LINK modem TC-7610 8/4 and all channels are running. also I noticed there is a big different with online gaming.

Also they will increase the speed. If you have 60/5, it will be 100/10. They already updated some other states.

That's a good move on their part.I know in my area they are losing lots of customers to AT&T as they just put in Fiber from the cabinet but it's still copper coming down the pipe from who knows where,so I'm not doing anything until I find out how it's working out for people.

Spectrum does need to step up their game in the quality department of their internet. Most customers don't care as they don't notice, if their computer turns on and they can get on the internet they're happy. But as gamers we notice all the things that are wrong thru testing via PP and other things.

But still good info to know,thanks... :D

I legit notice the differences while playing bo3. I started off with an 60 ping to the stl server, then it drop to an 40 ping when I got my surfboard modem. but I couldn't play on the stl server at all, but now the hit detection is A1 for me. all I need is that 10 MB upload plus the dumaos anti spike feature or what ever its called.
