david
I'm having trouble getting Plex on a PC to connect to a Plex server on a NAS, they are both hardwire connected to the netduma router so the connection is over LAN. I'm get the error DNS Rebinding Protection detected on the plex client. This seems to be generally caused by DNS servers on the local network, and there are fixes for common routers like adding 'rebind-domain-ok=/plex.direct/' to the configuration for DD-WRT. My problem may have nothing to do with the netduma, I'm just investigating all options at moment.Does netduma have a similar DNS rebinding protection feature and is it possible to configure a whitelist for domains? Has anyone else had similar issues with Plex connections using the netduma router and found a solution? Thanks, David
Administrators Netduma Fraser Posted June 18, 2017 Administrators Share Posted June 18, 2017 We don't have that feature so the only suggestion I can give are make sure multicast snooping is enabled in misc settings and make sure DNS is matching up on devices.
